Springville Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Springville, New York, in the foothills of the Allegany Mountains.
The course first opened for play in 1922.
This tight course features narrow fairways and small greens that are severely sloped. The terrain is rolling, so you can expect some uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on a few holes, and sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. The setting is scenic due to the mature trees that line the fairways. The tree lined fairways lie on a natural gravel bed that quickly drains excess water. So, in the Spring and Fall when other clubs are closed, Springville Country Club is playable for both riders and walkers.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,338 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,090 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 547 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 496-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at the Springville Golf Course is # 12, a 168 yard par-3.
